Where did you get Luftwaffe from it? I see the marks above the waffenampts that could be mistaken for an L.
If it was luftwaffe, wouldn't the L be at the bottom side of the waffenampt? Ron

Nice piece! Certainly looks like a correct example with a walnut stock to me.

"What's this worth?" is a really tough question to answer. You'll only really find out in an auction setting that has more than one well heeled and motivated bidder. Keep in mind that I don't have any money on the table here, but $1,600is probably low for this piece.

Looks like a flat buttplate as well most seen are cupped, mine is cupped laminate
stock 100% matching but sadly deactivated.
