I want one...badly...perhaps I could teleport over, snatch one quick and then head back over here? I wonder if they even know what type of gun that is?

Probably come from Russian stocks during the Cold War. Syria also had Panzers IV, 17 of them bought from Spain in 1953. I believe they got more Panzers and StuGs fron France and other European countries after WWII.

Note how neatly organized they are! I bet there are pouches somewhere as well.

A lot of Mp44 items came in from Egypt years ago, so maybe these will come in as parts kits as well.

I see parts kits happening...lots of parts kits. If they were smart theyd export them to fund more useful arms.

I saw these posted on another forum. Speculation there is that they came from Yugoslavia.
Evan as parts kits* there's a tremendous amout of value in that stack.
                * Unfortunatly at present the barrels could not be imported. Perhaps this will change after November.

                  every body wants one

Israel used a lot post war german weapons as well as a lot of foreign
nations. The truly sad part is I bet most of these weapons will be
Destroyed after the conflict is over.

These 5.000 (!) MP44 were discovered before the war started, and were meant to be delivered to europe, for collectots.
Unufortunately the UN-embargo stopped the container, and it was sitting there and waiting... till the free syrian army discovered it, and openend it. They think they found AK47´s...
