    Hi Willi,

Oh yes I was a frequent visitor in the late 70's early 80's. I havn't been back there for at least 20 years however. I had heard of the Allentown shows but never managed to get out there. i will have to do so soon! Santa Barbara also has a very good show in January. I pulled some greast things out of it over the years.

The new location is just inside the Pa border from the NJ side less than 1/3 mile from Rt78. 200 yards down the street is another superb firearm's store called The Heritage Guild. This is their newest and 3rd location; two others are still in NJ. They have much nicer collectible firearms, new stuff, indoor ranges, and they are now buidling a tactical room clearing "fun house".

To top that Easton is also home to The Forks of the Delaware Arms Collector's Association and they hold 5 superb shows in nearby Allentown. Rated by the NRA as one of the top 10 shows in the US. It still brings in sniper rifles as many 101st and 29th ID vets are from this area. In its prime time it was a great place for FJ items, camo helmets, rare field gear, etc, etc.

      Good reason Willi:
But you might want to consider spending some time in Arizona during the Winter months.
The Crossroads show held here in early December coupled with the SAR is a not to miss event every year.

I was just down that way last year when me and my Father took a trip to IMA. Have to say IMA was kinda a disappointment but Sarco was cool. They had some pretty nice P08's there as well and I did buy a cleaning kit for my Mosin Nagant from them. I don't care for the location though since there's a ton of fireworks places there and I can't buy any because of me being a resident of PA.

Did you check out The Heritage Guild as well? Much better collectible firearms.

Those firework stores are only for NJ "tourists". Weak stuff. Head further west (about 20 miles) to get the good stuff!

most of the pa stores have a dont ask dont tell policy. Dont tell them your a pa resident and they just assume your from jersey Dont ask them what you can buy, just get buy it. If anything they just give you a piece of paper that "needs to be signed by a local official, we dont care who and we dont check". IMA is hit or miss, but you can handpick some nice stuff there, especially uncleaned nepalese stock. I scored some nice fieldgear and k98 cleaning kits also, but had to sort through a bunch of garbage to find it. They boys running the shop seemed more into playing video games than working when I visited also, but it has been a while. Havent made it to the Pa sarco store, but did hit their sterling store in the 90's when I lived in Nj. Cool that they are moving over here where we still have a few rights left. Fork of the delaware shows are some of the best. I havent been for a few years because never seemed to able to get off work but plan on attending again soon.
