    Sarco, Inc

I am sure many are familiar with Sarco. I have been going to their shop in NJ (both locations) for more than 40 years and my dad used to enjoy taking me as a kid. They have now moved to Pa and I went there a few days ago. Still a cool place!!

Cool indeed. Nothing like that in these parts.

    Thanks for sharing,

I too have been buying from SARCO for many years. I guess they just got fed up with New Jersey's draconian firearms regulations so they pulled up stakes and moved to Pennsylvania.
To the best of my knowledge New Jersey is the only State that doesn't recognize an 03 C&R FFL.
Well good for SARCO and probably a substantial loss in tax revenue for New Jersey.

I love the smell of SARCO in the morning! I'll have to stop by their new digs!

Gary, I guess you have been there! I have lots of fond memories of the original two locations, Used to go there in the eraly 70's, then I went to college nearby. A friend was the manager but unfortunately he was killed in a firearms accident.

The new location is just inside the Pa border from the NJ side less than 1/3 mile from Rt78. 200 yards down the street is another superb firearm's store called The Heritage Guild. This is their newest and 3rd location; two others are still in NJ. They have much nicer collectible firearms, new stuff, indoor ranges, and they are now buidling a tactical room clearing "fun house".

To top that Easton is also home to The Forks of the Delaware Arms Collector's Association and they hold 5 superb shows in nearby Allentown. Rated by the NRA as one of the top 10 shows in the US. It still brings in sniper rifles as many 101st and 29th ID vets are from this area. In its prime time it was a great place for FJ items, camo helmets, rare field gear, etc, etc.

In one opf the pictures below, it looks like and MP44 and an FG42 hanging on the back wall???? Is it a genuine FG42 or one of the new build repros?

If memory serves, the MP44 is a WWII Guns replica they never sold.

I'm sure since they've hopped the fence over into Pennsylvania, their assortment of firearms for sale will be much better.

Thanks for posting pics! Their old location (Stirling, NJ) was about 2 miles away from me, and in the same township, so I used to go there a lot. Gotta make it to the PA shop sometime.

I just placed an order with SARCO'S yesterday and I thought I'd let everyone know that shipping is running up to 2 weeks in duration as they are backlogged with orders. Apparently NO economic problems there!

I used to go to both of the Stirling locations they had.

I will admit that the quality of firearms has improved in their new location. Some good people working there as well! That being said, the shop right next to them, The Heritage Guild, had a much nicer inventory of collectible firearms. And, quite a few modern firearms as well.

Both the MP44 and FG42 were repros. I don't think they have a Class 3 license.

Yes, the MP44 and the FG were made by Shoei, the finest replica maker. Very great shop. Tried to go to the PA one day, but was too early and on the way to another place, so couldn't stop

Brian, I think IMA is only a block or two away, also in Easton.

Now there's a couple of reasons to live in PA!
The only place we have in AZ on a par with these is Omega Weapons which is located in Tucson
and owned by my friend Don Bell. However his warehouse in not open to the public.
