...is a 1938 PP 7.65mm pistol rig. Original, all-matching, and non-import-marked, it doesn't get better than this -

Here are some close-ups of the pistol itself showing quite a bit of the original polished blue finish (except for the high points due to holster wear) -

The rig came with a flat-bottom magazine and a spare with the finger extension. Both are wartime issue as indicated by the caliber markings in addition to the Walther banner logo -

Then again, the pistol is not pristine so the condition of the holster is not an unreasonable match.
All-in-all, I am very pleased with my first foray into collecting some of the smaller German and Axis Power pistols.
