Those tripods are post war made for the MG3 (post war MG42) and are 95% identical to the war time one, see that at post #6. A bit of machining helps to transform these into "original". I have done that a couple of times, and sold as "repro" at a reasonable price. I hate these guys that live out of fooling others.

The transport strap is an absolute fake, using a Yugo runner buckle.

What's the current value of a post war M3 "drei-bein" unit?
I gave a friend of mine one for free (as it was not a WW2 piece) ...
A shame that these are being modified with fake markings!

From time to time you can get some from 60€ to 120€, as a reasonable price. Other guys go higher.
