    While Simpsons is normally high, a friend bought a very nice 1913 Commercial matching rig from them at an absolute steal. They had just bought it, and apparently it did not register on them how rare the rig was. Probably less than a dozen known.

      I would say in this condition and non-matching, in the low 2's. There are enough nice Artillery's out there that are all matching and in great condition, so that will hurt you, unfortunately.

        And in this instance their large size and inventory worked against them...they must've rushed the posting of that item...I wonder if they ever caught on?

          It never made their site. The pistol was bought at Tulsa by the senior Simpson, and my friend bought it there. I am sure they made money on the pistol and never gave it a second thought. Anyway, the point was that bargains are where you find them.
