      What are you waiting for?
The P.38 is a keeper and highly desiarable for the reasons mentioned above.

      Douglas.

The Artillery luger has been refinished most of the markings are almost gone still a beautiful shooter. In my opnion the nicest handgun of all ...over $2000 when matching...

Thanks Luis, He is asking me for $1300 for this pistol and I did not know if it was worth it. I appreciate the input. I still may not buy it as I really don't deal with firearms.

As well as the reblue, the only two serial numbers shown on the LP.08 don't match, and something is going on with the side plate.

You would be wasting your money on the LP08; it is junk. Again, however, the P.38 is a great buy and would be a desirable addition to most any collection of WWII firearms.

The Luger is, at most, a decent shooter. For sure you will attract a lot of attention at the range, but that's all. As such I would pay half of the asking price, as it is refinished and mismatching.

I arrived at this party a little late, but just wanted to say that Ronnie is correct. $500-$600 for a decent, matching ac42 is a bargain. In nearly 60 years of messin' with this stuff, that's only the 2nd one w/matching magazine I've seen in vet hands. Not mega-rare but certainly an eye-opener!!

p.s. let someone else buy the Luger....
