hello nordland how are you, yes I paid £90 uk pounds for the bakerlite but about 4 years ago and when I put a little gun oil on the but it looks very nice and you can see the full colour again, my mg 42 is full matching numbers all of it is it came from Russia and has all original parts on it even the wooden but numbers match , best regards john

hello nice butt, do you have with oil pics? your MG 42 should not have number on butt wood, are you sure it original? Do you have pics of MG ?

Hello John. Thats a very good price for an original bakelite stock. i must to the War & Peace Show too!!!

I have got my original bakelite stock a few years ago for 100 Euro. That was the best Deal ever.

hello nordland thank you I got a very good deal on the bakerlite 42 butt and the picture in the other thread shows my mg42 more darker than it really is all parts are ww2 even the barrel numbers match to the gun, regards john
