First buy the books, read them, memorize them, then handle a few accepted authentic examples so you get the feel for them, then have a few people you trust to help you when you think youve found the one you want. Its a minefield out there, better to not walk through it blindfolded.

Here is another I would highly recommend and have found to be well worth the $200.

It is certainly a minefield out there; I would only consider a textbook piece.

Now I have seen the rifle. tsk tsk.

Scope was indeed original, and in good quality. Rifle was not worth anything. converted into another type of rifle. Shortend barrel, diffrent sights and bolt. I ran away. However I will keep looking untill I find something.

I agree with You on Roberts Book Very Good reference , Robert does not have a lot of technical info in the book but there was not much that survived the War anyway , I my opinion Pics are worth there weight as to what is good and what`s not . Best Regards
