    AC 45 P-38 On Estand.

I am listing this ac45 P38 #3518a on Estand and someone chimed in to the potential buyer that the gun has been "dipped". I am seeking opinions on this. This is from a vet (means nothing) who said this was stored in his sock drawer for the past 60 years.

To be honest you need to take the pictures in natural sunlight and they need to be in focus for any real opinion to be rendered.

                        Cheers

The locking block must be "in the white", but I'm not sure from the pictures posted. It is also lacking the red paint in the "F" letter under the safety lever. Both thigs are usually clues of a refurbished gun. But again, can't tell you for sure based on such pics.

Also, don't use a white sheet (or white anything else) as your backdrop. I have obtained great results using an old light brown bath towel.

In this picture it looks as if the locking block has had a new serial number electro-penciled on to it.

                              I'm thinking its been re-furbished.
