Michael you have a NICE early carbine!!!!smg was right the band screw is not correct,and the barrel band is a IP.this carbine has come from the goverment at some point.I can't tell if the slide an bolt are correct or not.bolt would be marked OI,and slide PI.without pic can't tell if they are correct type.the stock was probly changed a unit level and the barrel band was also.ether way it is a very collectable carbine the way it sits as is .

your trigger housing appears correct but the hammer should be a type 2 dogleg it looks as if you have a type 3 straight in the trigger it could have been field up graded as some carbine were done as another poster suggested. the op slide should have a partial round cut machining at the rear if it does it's correct for the vintage. also count the number of coils on the hammer spring it should have in addition to the dogleg hammer a 22 coil hammer spring.
