Found a source for 7.92X33 Kurz, East German ,1958 production , steel, lacquered case. -- Has anyone used this ammo before , & most importantly --Is it corrosive ???

I've never dealt with it, but seeing as it's from 1958 and ComBloc, I would bet the farm it's corrosive. But it's not a big deal.....just means you have to clean your can't just throw your rifle in the closet without cleaning it. Just wash it out with soap and water and maybe a little windex and voila.......good as done. Pretty much, if you're gonna shoot surplus, you're gonna shoot corrosive.

There was a vendor selling the 8mm kurtz ammo at knob creek the past 4 shows...it is non corrosive and reloadable brass cased...cannot remember the name of the vendor...the ammo comes in light blue boxes with spanish writing...and cost about fifty cents a round. Maybe one of the other guys knows the names of vendor and ammo manufacturer.
