How was the Zf41 scope zeroed in on a K98k?
You've got elevation adjustment on the scope itself, but how were they adjusted for windage?
The rifle's mount is a machined bar on the side of the sight block, which theoretically must be parallel with the bore, but surely that can't be all they relied on?
Granted you're talking about a 1 1/2x long-eye-relief sight which wasn't the best set up, but you'd want it to be on target.
Also, possibly dealt with on an earlier thread, were those (reproduction) Zf41 bases which screw on in place of the usual sight base actually used in WW2?
