Ok, I'm not a big expert on flintlocks but I did use to own a pair of East India Company pistols and I would say that the one you posted looks ok but with some concerns. It's not a reproduction, you can't reproduce the patina of wood that old. However, the markings on the barrel seem strange to me, I've never seen anything like that. Usually, you'll have proof house marking on the top, near the flash pan, and the bore size I think.
The other concern is the gold stain of the lockplates on both guns, this isn't right as far as I'm concerned. Are they replacement parts or original taken off at sometime and stained/plated?
For that reason, I would leave these two alone unless they were dirt cheap. Same as TR suff, go for the untouched rather than the possibly restored.
Here are mine, now sold much to my regret. You'll notice that the wood is a different colour on both, due to my Mum displaying one next to the window and the other in shade for 10 years! Mum!! God damn, they were beautiful weapons, sold them much too cheap.
                        Cheers
                        Ben

BTW, a Tower marked weapon should command a higher price than one that is not. It's a Royal stamp of approval from the Crown proof house and the metal loops on the handle isn't always a sign of Cavalry holster pistols, it could be Navy as well.

I would be nervous, never knew the repros were this good!

Cheers Ben the there were 3 weapons the other was an Enfield tower musket but the rear sight was in the wrong place(according to the millions of pictures of similar I have looked at ) ,the other thing that makes me suspicious is the mechanisms worked like clockwork with loud sure clicks when the cock was pulled back ,I read on the web that a lot of these weapons were found in Nepal armouries and I suspect they were rebuilt using real and old parts before being shipped to England .Those pistols of yours Ben are gorgeous shame you sold them but thats life .That last pistol is an exact match nearly I suppose with a bit of expert aging you could create and "old" weapon .Rob
