Guidance in selling a flare gun

    Hi guys,

I am not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but will give it a try. I have been thinking of selling my Walther flare gun with 5 empty cartouches I have. There was a time when I collected German equipment, but when moving to another house and searching other interests in the world of German and Japanese medals and badges, this flare gun became less important . Most of the equipment is now gone, and only this gun remains. I'm a little afraid to sell anywhere, but would like to do so on the e-stand. However, my fear is now shifting to postage and customs. To the best of my knowledge, there are no papers required in Belgium. But is it safe to send anywhere in the world? I understand it is not a gun to kill someone, yet, I fear it can cause some troubles to some parties.

    Please advice!

    Regards,
    Laurens

Ps: This is not a selling ad

Hi Laurens, you cannot send it to Britain. Stick to selling it within Belgium and avoid any problems would be my advice.

      Cheers, Ade.

It won't be a big problem to send it to Holland i think.

Thankfully common sense still prevails in NZ - no problems importing it here. What model are we talking about?

Most of the US is OK as well. But avoid California, New York, and Hawaii for starters. There are others I am sure, New Jersey? but I don't know them all.

I guess it will most probably go to someones collection in Holland, as I am not fond of shipping worldwide. But thank you for the guidance anyways

              Cheers,
              Laurens

In Belgium flare guns are free.
