Had a great opportunity to meet some super guys this last time around...and look forward to an even bigger and better repeat performance in 2008! I think that making this an annual event would be fantastic. Getting to see some outstanding pieces in Bill's way-overcrowded room was worth the trip in itself!

Alright, here is another questioin then. The SOS dates are February 21st-24th. The Gun show starts on that Saturday the 23rd-24th. So, what date do we want to have our get-together? Do you want it that first night on Thursday? or Friday? or Saturday?

Well let the majority decide on this. I'll post a poll on another thread.

Also, whoever is planning on attending, you can PM me, and I'll send you my mailing address. I'll be collecting the donations then, and making the room reservations. Does anybody have a preference to which hotel? I was thinking the Sleep Inn, just as close as the Executive, but cheaper. Any others?

It was great to meet some of you guys in Louisville, I like the idea of a "show and tell" meeting, it was the best part of the P.38 Forum gathering.

Some of you may remember me as the bald guy guy who tried to keep the meeting moving along.

All those of you who plan on attending the WAC/Firearms forum annual get together, next February at Louisville, please visit the thread that has the poll on this subject, and vote on which night you would like this to take place.

Also, if you are planning on attending, please PM me, and I'll send you my address, and you can send me your full name, and you donation.
I'll let the poll go for a while longer, and reserve the room for the date that recieves the most votes.
We would like to get names, and donations of those attending ASAP! This way we know how many people plan to attend, how much space (rooms, or conference rooms?) we need to reserve, and how much money we have to spend. So, your speedy responses are greatly appreciated!

Also, if you are attending, and there is an item that you would like someone to bring for the "show and tell" please post it up here!!

Everyone begin thinking of a firearm or firearm accessories that you would like to see someone bring for S-A-T, and also be looking throught your collection for something for show and tell.. Although the SOS is many months away it will be here in a blink of the eye.. So who ever is planning to attend get the info. to MATT ASAP and pass the word to other members....BILL

If I attend your get together does that mean I can quit doing firearms evaluations in the Executive Inn bar? I'm sure I gave a start to some of the locals there particularly when I would have to walk out into the hall off the bar where the light was better to view a pistol.

Yes sir. I hate I missed it this year. I don't have hosptial call anymore so it will be a lot easier to swing. Maybe I can take the recoiless rifle or a mortar. Most of you have seen almost every type of handgun and rifle that I would have.
