OK,This is what i know of 100% Someone Re finished more then half of just one side were it says AC 45 ??Everything else is 100% correct ! Magazine???My Freind next door that knows guns realy well says ?????????He says the only thing he sees is the numbers are the same but facing a different dirrection!Who realy knows As i realy dont i just know i love here!! Does everyone think its worth $400 ??Comment

Worth $400? Yes. I agree with everyone that it does not look like original finish on the slide at least- perhaps the slide was refinished by itself. The mags were never numbered- however, it is the correct 359 proofed mag, with jvd markings (I have a no suffix ac45 with that mag). Perhaps a previous owner numbered the mag to match, but they stopped numbering mags in 41 I think. Take some outside pics- I would personally be surprised if you did not find an import mark somewhere on it in the future- like on the bottom of the slide in microscopic letters

Hi,Ok i will take a fine tooth comb and check the hole thing out!! The other side of the slide has not been refinished as it has rough markings and the color is a lot duller! The P.38 Ac side you can see it under a very bright light were someone must have redone just that side as it must have been bad or no finish left at all on it?? It just realy makes no sence as to why someone would renumber??Crazy but the rest is fine!! Thanks for the help and coments on it good and bad!!Comment

There is no import Marks on this 100% for sure!! Everything on it is the original finish except for the one side of the slide! The mag lets just say its blank as i can replace that easy and for abought $40 ...So still with all said and taken that everything i said is 100% correct did i do ok on Paying $400 ?? I m going to an astate aution tommorow and iam comeing home with another P.38 and maybe a Luger??? But we will see !Thanks All of you !!
