1936 S/42 Luger with two matching clips help please

Correction: On the magazine bottoms for sale, those are offered on e-bay. Do a search using the terms "Luger Magazine Bottom" and you will find them. Some are nice; others are not (w/ post-war alterations, etc.), so you will have to sort through the various offerings to find something that would be correct for the nickle plated III Reich-era Mauser mags.

The strawed parts on that Luger look very bright and shiny and almost too good. A closer examination might be wise to determine if they have been re-strawed. The white stuff in the Gesichert is not original.

Strawed parts are really nice but do show a little honest wear and loss of finish. The patina is what I'd expect. Just not catching that in the photos I guess. Compares very well to a 1937 chamber dated Luger I purchased directly from a vet source.

Like the op and everyone noticed definitely resurfaced and restamped mags. They did a good job grinding it and stamping. Surprised they didn’t have the brains to knick it up and put peroxide on it. A plus in this case at least, granted at least the differences in the m and letters would still help illustrate it.
