Nice Ade,
I didnt realise it was restored that much. What did it look like before? I must see more. I think its great you all have Fausts from the Austrian lake Cash, its like the EK1 mm26 hoard but much more dangerous!

Matt,
Here is my Gretchen tube. I found a few markings under the rust and freed up the sight and arming lever. the tail fin assembly is stuck/corroded into the tube any ideas on how to free it up gratefully received. Thanks for the info on that head but really need a relic one in similar condition to the tube.

Hi Mark,
If the tube itself is clear then I would put a good amount of penetrating oil down it and hold the tube upside down for about a day to let it soak in real well. Then from the back side with a wood dowel just a little smaller than the tail fin I would gently tap it out.
