    Lets see some Panzerfausts!

I've suddenly got Faust fever and I would love to see your panzerfausts and especially details of firing mechanisms and stencilling. Also I dont understand how the fixed fins on the tail of the warhead spring out after the warhead is launched, they are fixed to a bit of wood and not springy so how does it work??? Ade I'd love to see your restored to see how it came out in the end.
If anyone is selling a fausts or faust firing mechanism parts as well please drop me a line

    Matt

        Matt,

I just bought a 'Gretchen' tube on ebay.de 40 Euros incl post, just gave it a scrub and recovered some stencilling. Will post pics later. Anyone got a klein/gretchen head?

        regards

        Mark

They are made of hard and stiff metal that simply flip out (from being rolled around the grenade) when leaving the tube.

              Cheers.

                  Hello Matt,

here is my example. It has most of its original paint finish and stencilling remaining, plus it still has a fair amount of its warhead label also.

If memory serves, this particular one was part of a batch that was discovered in Austria ( or so the story went) around 5 years ago.

                  Patrick.

And to close, a detail of the label itself.
