This is the best one in my collection, I picked these up in Austria about 12 years ago. My friend Wolfgang called me and told me of some that were found in a small lake. So over I went(hadn't seen Wolfgang since school!) and found about ten were still remaining so I took the best 6 and came home with them.

This the one I have hanging.
It is interesting in that it has the kleine style tube(though increased in size for the larger tail fin assembly) and the head of the 60.

Matt the fireing mechanisum is very basic its just a long bit of springy metal with a pin on the end and when you push the trigger the end lifte lifting the metal which falls off springing onto a precussion cap and bang but hard to explane

                        Thanks for the explanation Adam
Gary Do you still have all 6?? That big 100 (or 60?) is very impressive especially with its printed factory code and date on the warhead. I'm thinking to myself whether I will ever be able to afford an original painted one ever but by the time I'm amking money the price will probable have escaped from my means. Lets keep them coming everyone these fausts are great! Pictures inside the warhead would be nice to see aswell

Jens I'm sorry mate but you cant get away from this thread with those far away shots you took last year, we need detail my boy lol They look great on the truppenfahrad. Fritz better be careful he doesnt fall on one when he's riding through the rubbel of Berlin to get at a T-34 though!
                            Matt

*edit* Gary could you do me a really big favour and take some close pics of the fins, how they're attatched to the wood and the measurements of the fins and the distance between each fin. This would be very useful to me, Dont worry if you can't
                            Matt

I think it's a 150(based on the site gradations) and no I sold 2 to friends over the years. I got them first to California , then when that state went nutso and outlawed them, I moved to Nevada I got them over on a plane! Back then no one cared. The customs guy's response was 'hey those are cool....they don't still work do they?'
