Governmental x Diplomatic daggers - BIG CONFUSION?

Interestingly, the new Reichsbahn officials dagger was introduced on 1.3.1941 and the new Bahnschutzpolizei dagger followed on 15.4.1941. Both are pictured.

These are sometimes referred to as 1st and 2nd model daggers.

Uniform-Markt (Uniform Market) was published for the benefit of the uniform industry. New regulations were closely followed for anything uniform-related, as well as flags, standards, etc.

After more digging, I find that the Reichsbahn dagger pictured and described along with hanger and portepee in the 1.3.1941 issue of U-M is NOT the one commonly referred to as the 1st model Bahnschutz dagger. It was a prototype design. However, I know of at least one that was manufactured and showed up in the US.
