Help on my first dagger!

I love the dagger, but that scabbard gives me the creeps. Unless it's really reasonably priced, I'd pass.

Just for curiosity: what would be a reasonable price for this group (a very nice early dagger and "a not so good scabbard")?

Doug,

You are really just buying the dagger - the scabbard with no screw holes in the bottom fitting bothers me. I would hope to get into it for about $300.00 US. Then you have to scare up an early scabbard - not an easy thing to do. Just my opinion, but unless you are looking for a project, I would pass on this one.

Thanks for your reply. However, I must note that I´m not buying the dagger ! It is a Ricky´s choice and it seems that he is having fun with it !

I´m having LOTS of fun with it, and I´ll have some more seting my first SA display. I even ordered some real nice SA collar tabs for the display

That so discussed scabbard dont give me the creeps, maybe the bottom fitting...but I can live with that.
