Salty Chained M36 SS Dagger with maker I have not seen and is not listed in any of my Books, Anyone else?

Before someone steps out and hollers "fake!" let me say that this is a very intriguing piece. The maker mark does not appear to be laser etched and nothing stands out in the motto being a reproduction. It could be that the maker mark has been expertly acid etched on a standard M36 unmarked blade. Other opinions?

Paul Seilheimer is not listed as a SS maker in their catalog.

Also this particular logo for Seilheimer known as 'Dog Logo', was the last they used which I believe to be around 1939/1940. I believe that chained SS is a type 2, and is too early in production to have used a late PS 'dog logo'.
