Hi guys,
I purchased several daggers off of a son of a B24 pilot today, as well as Wittman's 3rd volume concerning dress naval daggers. I am certainly not practiced when it comes to third reich edged weapons, let alone navy daggers. Upon consulting Wittman's book (like I said purchased today off of the same gentleman where the daggers came from), I feel good about the Eickhorn dagger but not so much on the Weyersberg. The release button is notched on the Eickhorn and drilled on the Weyersberg. The buffer pad appears to be felt on the Eickhorn and leather on the Weyersberg.
Please let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Nate
First, the Eickhorn.
And now the Weyersberg.
