I hope to post some images of the markings on the tang, the inside of the crossguards and the number under the 'button' that holds the frog in place

I believe these are all proofs of authenticity.

Please do not take the dagger apart. If you intend on selling, for many of us that hurts value.

IMO, it looks nice so far, and those that study these can tell an original by observing key aspects on the outside.
