I've been offered a SS dagger, that belonged to a finnish SS-volunteer.
Documented history, sold by the son. Owner was SS-rottenführer (4.FFB/2.K),
Buy the item, not the story.
I mainly collect feldpost and photos, so this is way out of my knowledge.
I got none. So any help would be very appreciated, I need to know
what you dagger collectors think about this one. Bad or good?
I have a hard time reading the maker mark, but after googling on maker marks it seems like it could be: 15/38 SS J.A. Henckels Solingen ?
If real or fake, one thing is for sure - it's quite beat up.
Not in it's best health, so the value is little lower and if the history is correct that's all I care about/buying for.
Thanks in advance, I appreciate all help.
I've got sellers promition to show photos.
