      This sword was probably made in the 70s or 80s and was actually rather well made. A direct comparison with an original would reveal differences in the shape of the D-guard, the ferrule and the end of the quillon. The bottom fittings of the scabbard is quite realistic but the upper fitting is rather crude. The blade could serve as a good replacement for a rusty or beatered original one.
