Opaak red enamel is used on party badges and HJ diamonds. In rare occasions they were used on HJ knives, that's my opinion. I know Herman's reputation as a high end HJ knife collector so his statement made me
I only wonder why they would made perfect fakes just after the war and put a opaak enamel diamond on it? Why not a common one?
I have pictures from an old catalogue showing perfect copies from HJ knives but with the pathfinder logo instead of the HJ logo. If someone switch the logo's there is still the postwar maker mark (the etched logo of a trumpet for instance, in the case of Weyersberg)
