German Fighting Knife -- Looks Like "MINI" parade bayont

I would like some opinions and info on this Fighting Knife.

Guy was told by his uncle who sent it back. "This is a German COMMANDO knife"

From what i can tell, in Fredricks Book. This is a WW1 fighting knife.

Is this WW1 or WW2 era.

    stamped Ges Gesch.

any info on this is greatly appreciated.

I don't see a pic but based on your description it is a WW1 private purchase trench knife.

Much better!! Nice blade! Could the scabbard be for a hitler youth?

Looks like WW1, is there an imperial mark anywhere?

I believe ges. gesch was used pre-1933?

Ok, I'm brain dead tonight. This can't be true because I've seen plenty of third reich era swords with this marking...
