German Fighting Knife -- Looks Like "MINI" parade bayont

I would like some opinions and info on this Fighting Knife.

Guy was told by his uncle who sent it back. "This is a German COMMANDO knife"

From what i can tell, in Fredricks Book. This is a WW1 fighting knife.

Is this WW1 or WW2 era.
