Not much, but figured i'd share this one. Typically I don't since there are very few of us who are bonkers for Heer sabels.
Acquired this one a couple moths ago. Eventually got to removing it from the shipping box, waxed the blade, and eventually placed it in the sword display (almost out of room). My former Nr 1058 was sold to a collector pal from the forums. I ordinarily don't upgrade pieces since most of what I buy is in excellent shape..this was a cut above my former Nr. 1058.
Brass hilted, retaining 90% of it's original gold colored gilting. Scabbard paint rates about 85%
It's got one of the funky, seldom seen platicesque knots, which has a cracked cord (strap) which I'll need to repair (short of that the knot rates excellent+).
