SA Dagger with inscription

Wagner's assessment is right on the money... not much more to say here. A very desirable dagger if the inscription can be authenticated. Do you have good detailed pics of the inscription and remnants of the logo, it may help narrow it down a little.

Assuming the dagger is original, it may be full ground Röhm with dedication added later in 1938. How could this happen is hard to tell. We must not forget the daggers were not cheap for ordinary stormtroopers at that time, so I wouldn't be surprised that early dagger belonging to someone else was "reissued" and presented to another guy in 1938.
Of course, hands on inspection would tell much more, close ups of the dedication wouldn't be bad thing either.
