You should probably contact John P. Moore to get a estimate on that SS Officer file. Ross does a good job but can be very expensive. John's costs are much more reasonable and affordable and he has access to the exact same SS Officer files.
My main focus over the last three years is the harvesting of SS numbers not in the SS-Dienstalterslistes (that other “experts” said didn’t exist) and collecting the best of the those numbered daggers sold by the those too ignorant (stupidity is genetic, blame your parents; ignorance is a choice, blame yourself) or cheap to care if theirs can be researched. My database, now over 90,000 numbers, has enabled me to identify about 150 daggers whose original owners had been lost in time until I came along and I am adding to it every week. I will accept research requests for SS daggers and other items that fall outside of the parameters of my main interest and, when possible, I can provide a variety of quality research options to those customers who value a superior presentation of documents/photographs to enhance their dagger. However, I do value my costs and time especially when others will make money off of my labor and expertise. For my regular clients (like many businesses, 80% of orders come from 20% of my customers), I will often undertake a record search and provide copies of documents for at little or no cost to them especially to those who are friendly. Despite jealous critics, I am fortunate to be in the “sweet spot” of life and what really only matters to me is if I am having fun researching, collecting and helping others. And I wish you all the same.
