Most of those that have been collecting for a while, at one time or another will be in need of a part for a dagger. If it's an SA dagger, Army or Luft, you're in luck. If it's a Water Protection Police........ God help you. 
And as I've explained to other collectors, then comes the challenge to adapt a certain part to fit your dagger. Anyone that has tried to do this will find out that even a simple pommel nut off of one SA will not fit another blade tang. As you may know, parts can be expensive. Recently a nickel silver SA/SS grip eagle was in the e-stand for around $50. When it come to purchasing parts for a dagger that is missing something or has a damaged piece on it, a collector needs to evaluate how much they will spend to bring a particular piece back to what it should be.
