    Possible hj parts knife?

Good evening, after a few of your valued comments on this Voo's hj. ive got it sitting in front of me and something jumped out at me as i opened it. My thought is that its made using a post war/repro handle/metal work.

few things that made me think this is

1/rivets look changed, too small for grip and some slight damage to the shape

2/ grip plates dont fit very well, cut at an angle where it should be flush to finger guard bit (these technical names )

3/ colour and look of the plating

4/ its got a seam on the finger guard

if you could let me know what you think i'd be most apprieciated

pics coming now may take a few mins to host them all

    mike

thats it, the book underneath i highly recommend reading is 'In Deadly Combat A German Soldiers Memoir of The Eastern Front' by Gottlob Biddermann

MIKE THE GRIPLATES LOOK LIKE REPRO ONES TO ME JUST LOOK AT THE VERY BAD FIT. THE RIVETS ARE A MILE OUT AND DEFINETLY NOT ORIGIONAL VERY POOR REPLACEMENTS. THE FINGERGUARD,HILT, POMMEL IS POSTWAR! THE BLADE RZM STAMPING MARK & YEAR LOOK DODGEY TOO BUT MIGHT BE OK. THE DAIMOND INSIGNIA LOOKS OK TO ME BUT MY HONEST OPINION OF THIS HJ IS THAT IT HAS BEEN PUT TOGETHER FROM DIFFERENT PARTS AND WHOEVER SOLD YOU THIS SHOULD HANG THERE HEAD IN SHAME FOR SELLING THIS AS A GENUINE PEICE FOR TOP MONEY SEND IT BACK DIRECTLY MIKE........CHEERS SWEEZZ.

thanks Sweezz, ive concentrated on all the bad things in close up, step back abit and it looks a good knife, i can see why it could pass as ok, the scabbard and leather look mint, not sure on the motto iam not 100% sure as ive never really looked closely at the style of them,

it could be a rare blade voos without maker and motto just been matched with some parts that combination does exist.
