SS engraved bayonet - please check!

here comes another SS items I would like to hear your opinions about.
It's an SS engraved bayonet from Aufklärungs-Abteilung 3 with knot.

What do you think about the bayonet and the knot?

Any time I hear or see "engraved bayonet" and "SS" in the same sentence, I cringe. I keep hoping that someday we'll see a real one, but this one isn't it. Probably an original bayonet that someone has messed up with spurious engraving. Sad...

Knot looks like a postwar piece as well. I don't like the runes or the complete lack of wear/age.

Maybe mention should be made that the bayonet looks like a modified fireman's short bayonet.

A fake etch on a modified fire bayo, says it all Anyway, it's a shame a fire bayo has been destroyed this way.
