Larry,
My concern with this dagger started out with the crossguards. They seem to completely lack the definition seen on originals, sharpness in angles & accent-grooves (if that is the word..). I see no traces of plating.

The grip also seems very soft/rounded in its lines.

Motto on the blade sits very low, far from the crossguard and that's for me a major concern with it.

I also think this whole dagger is a repro.
I dont know about the scabbard based on these pics.

I don't have TW's book yet, but beyond the mismatched crossguards, as I previously mentioned, the motto is the biggest problem in my opinion, its just too far from the crossguards. I have not seen that on any Eickhorn NON Rohm/Himmler. Beyond that, the crossguards have very poor definition and detail, the grip fit and contour is way off to crossguard match. Also look at the upper scabbard fitting, the edge is round-rolled which is a sign of some of the early repros.

Some late thoughts. Some already mentioned above.

The shape of and fit of the grip to the crossguard and pommel is 'lumpy'. The quality and location of the etch is off. The sharp spine on the blade suggests a flat or possibly hollow grind instead of a convex style. Often the tang on genuine Eickhorn SA/SS blades will show the CAH mark of Carl August Hartkopf, a sub contracting drop forging smithy, that provided Eickhorn wth many forged blade blanks for finishing.
