      My new addition

I have added the following short fire bayonet to my collection. It is the short version with the standard tip. It took me some time to get it but now thanks to Snynder's Treasures, I got my hands on one. It's a Spitzer in excellent condition. The blade has a mirror finish with minute slide marks. The photos do not do it justice and what looks like a spot is in fact a reflection

I have also decided to sell two of my bayonets. One is a standard short bayonet and the other a long fire bayonet because they were duplicates. Hope you like it guys!

Oh boy, be careful with him! I hope he didnt sell you a bad piece! If you didnt know his reputation, just search his name here...or search for "eva's panties" !!!

          Hey

          Thanks

I had a look at some of the comments and none seem to be based on some solid evidence of him offering something fake. I do however think that some of the claims to the items he is selling may be hard to prove. When it comes down to these bayos and other items, it's not too hard to tell a fake from a real item. I know for sure that the Spitzer I received is 100% legitimate.

                hehe

To be honest, I am not sure how many makers of dress bayonets there were. However, I am sure that the number is quite large. Many as you know were unmarked. I am a type collector so I am shooting for a sample from each of the types of dress bayonets. I am now going for a short dress bayonet with the standard tip. Then I will need a pioneer, a stag-handle as well as an imitation stag-handle bayonet. It looks like I should start making more money ))

Ok, here's an update on the new babes I got to my collection:

                  1. Short stag imitation staghorn - not maker marked
                  2. Short standard double TM-marked dress bayo from Tiger - wide blood groove

                          Haha

Oh well, I have to admit I have made all of them in the back of my shed .. damn you guys, you caught me red-handed :P Now seriously, I am very selective when it comes down to the condition of the pieces I want. It takes longer to build the collection but the result is I think better.
