That is a very nice type 46.
It is my understanding that these were from a licensed design from the K.98 and then "Japanesified" when produced in Japan.
I know that most of these were rechambered for a very similar but different round, and they were labled somehow, but I've never been able to figure out how they are labled...
BTW, Rock Island Auctions has one of these listed for auction in a month with an estimate of over $1000!Comment
