Eickhorn SA; ground Rohm? opinions please.

I bought the Eickhorn SA that I was asking about. Externally it was completely untouched but the blade had signs of old sharpening and rust circles where the keeper slides pressed for too long. I hated it but had to polish the blade somewhat. Anyway.... the reverse of the blade had very old grind marks and what appear to be depressions where a motto would have been. Do I have a ground Rohm?

I know the blade lacks much to be desired but the dagger was cheap. Thanks for your help.

Looks like a Rohm to me. Having those few traces of the inscription remaining adds a lot to the dagger.

                              Roehm Daggers By Eickhorn

IN MOST INSTANCES, you will find an Eickhorn inspector's stamp on the underside of the lower crossguard (a number 0 through 9) on Roehm and Himmler presentation daggers. This is a good way to tell forsure that they were a Roehm dagger if they are ground.

PS: This is only on Eickhorn manufactured Roehms and Himmlers.
