Hi there,
I put these up for sale just now on ebay but as I was writing the listing I noticed some interesting irregularities - just wanted you opinion. Here is my description:
-----------------
Wehrmacht standard radio DFH.a and 39 marked headphones fitted with rubber ear protection and headband marked DFH.b as used by the German wehrmacht in their panzers and armored vehicles - the 39 denotes year of manufacture as 1939. No offensive markings to speak of and other than some surface paint that has worn off there is a very minor surface rusting only on the retaining area. Aside from these two minor points the headset is perfect with no leather cracks on the head band nor rubber - the "speaker" is also perfect.
Model: Doppelfernhörer Dfh.a marked on both ear phones
Type: 2x1000 ohms
Headband: marked DFH.b
Year: 1939
-----------------
Was this a common thing to put .a's on .b headsets and put rubber headphones on them? I didn't think it was even possible. Do you think this will affect the value of the headphones significantly?
