    Fernschreiber T-36 Lo

Does anyone have a complete Fernschreiber T-36 Lo teletype machine? I just bought one and some parts came in a box. I need to see what the insides of a complete one look like.

    Thank you,

    Yuri

Do you have a picture? If it looks anything like a T 38, I might be able to help you.

Thank you. Unfortunately they are different. The T36 is a paper tape machine, while the T38 is a sheet printer.

Not this one, it uses paper tape. To be specific, the model number is "T 38 a Si".

Could you take a picture looking down at the keyboard? 5 of the keys on the 38 are not original, I would like to know what they should look like.

And if you could also take a picture of the strikers I would really appreciate it!

                          T 36 Lo and T 36 Si

Happy new year to all of you!

The T 36 Lo works like a traditional schreibmachine with a lot of hammers with two characters each.
The T 36 Si has a rotating wheel with two ranks of characters on it.

Both works with a Fernschreib-anschlussgerät but two types also exists because the plugs are different on the Lorenz and on the Siemens.

                          All the best for 2016!
