Showing here an unused/unissued cap of field-gray wool cloth without national insignia. The bill/visor measures 7.5 cm. back-to-front and is stiffly reinforced (cannot tell if cardboard or plastic). There is one reinforced metal grommet vent on each side. The ear flaps secured by two gray-black pebbled buttons and the silver piping around the crown appear to indicate it to be for wear by an Army or Administrative officer. The cotton lining on the interior is maker ink-stamped and reads: Gebr. Alm / Uniform-Muetzen-Fabrik / BERLIN C-2 / Muenzstr. 15 / 1943 / 59".
