can you explain or is this just some epiphany we need to take on faith?

It means what it says, ie from some of the pictures some of the materials & fitment don't look to be of the quality of a generals side cap, maybe in the hand it could be different.

The stitching of the braiding looks to have been re-done , the quality of the eagle attachment doesn't look as good as I would expect, maybe re-fitted
The leather brow band is not the norm.

I am not sure about It, only my opinion, but I don't love the way its been put together.

Clearly there are some odd tailoring/design details to this piece that warrant a sound rejection and not alot of equivocating. The negatives outweigh the positives in my opinion and it wouldnt be a cap I’d buy. Also, I think time and time again we’re seeing the work of one particular crackpot that likes having his skills validated on the forums. Maybe thats cynical me though.
