Fake insignia found on Atwoods is on this visor.

the insignia are originals
three prongs Assmann skull
and zinc assmann eagle "unmarked, round prongs, I think" (a clearer photo would help to classify it )

i have win the auction for this visor cap after seen this post. i see some bad and good opinions.....

i would like to be sure it's a good one and not for an old copy.

To me the cap is good. I do own also a dutch cap made by the Company H. Hettinga and they are similar in a lot of Points from construction and the lining.

I take no position on its authenticity, but I can say with a great deal of confidence that it is NOT an "Atwood" repro!!

I'm always entertained by those who say with such certainty that a particular hat is an "Alt Este", "Atwood" &/or "Janke" Repro, when the hat being erroneously classified as such is not even remotely close to being what is claimed. My "expertise" in such comes not only from 35+ years of collecting original items, but primarily from a nearly decade's pursuit where I actively collected such infamous reproductions for a planned reference publication.

So, I know this comment doesn't provide you any answers to your actual inquiry, but you can at least eliminate one possibility! 👍

my father own a visor with the same lining as that red piping one ,come form Holland,its the same .just white waffenfarbe.
