I don't doubt your collective expertise (which is the reason I came here to begin with). I will and have gladly accepted the cap as a fake, and even a bad one.

Although I wish it could have been more in the way of substance & information rather than pompous & snark, I appreciate those of you who took the time to comment.

Perhaps next time you will post the cap/item here on the WAF to determine originalty,
before listing it for auction ?
