An update to this thread. Have just heard from a long time DAK collector that he once owned a used, very worn 0/0384/0066 with the same insignia application, stamps, & grommets etc.

As far as i know RFN# numbers do not pre-date the RBN# system and they date to some point in mid 1943/44 ?
