Ciao Carlo
We can exclude Schreder. In fact, he was promoted to major-general posthumously on April 20, 1943 with seniority rank December 1, 1941.
Schneider could be:

Schopper also could be:

Hallo DonC
He was a Generaloberst when he died in still quite mysterious circumstances, along with his driver, Flugzeugführer (Staffelkapitän) Hptm. Wilhelm Suwelack of Kurierstaffel n. 7, on September 12, 1941 at Dimitriewka north of Bereslaw for a forced landing in a minefield or shot down by a Soviet fighter. However, the bodies were recovered and properly buried in Nikolaev the next September 15 in the presence of Antonescu, von Brauchitsch and von Manstein:

I agree: HV 42B, no. 863 of November 16, 1942 established the use of the gilt wreath and hoheitsabzeichen for the Generals and therefore well after the death of von Schobert.
So he, like was logical, goes off the list of eligible candidates.
